    Project Initiative in Amagarh Leopard Safari Park

    Several Rajasthan forest projects are focusing on wildlife conservation, habitat protection, and afforestation and around 9.6% of the forests in Rajasthan are managed by the Forest Department. Some of the project Initiavtis in Rajasthan are mentioned below: 

    1. Integrated Afforestation and eco-development projects: A total of 6 IAEP projects have been sanctioned by the Indian government for the Tonk, Udaipur, Bansawara, Jhalawar, Kota, and Sariska Tige reserve areas.

    3. Non-Timber Forestry Products Development: This project supports Bamboo, aonla, and mahua farming to generate income. 
    4. Rehabilitation of Degraded Forests by Association of Tribals: This project focuses on tribal-dominated pockets in Pratapgarh, Udaipur, and Dungarpur areas of Rajasthan.
